A Skeleton In The Closet

A story of love, family, and figuring out who you are.

A Skeleton In The Closet

Written and directed by Nicolás Teté, A Skeleton In The Closet is a story about love, family, and figuring out who you are.

Manuel travels back to his hometown with an ulterior motive – to ask his parents for money to move to Denmark with his boyfriend. Soon after arriving, however, things start to get complicated – his boyfriend dumps him, he has a surprising romantic encounter with an ex-teacher, and his parents are finding every possible means to avoid talking about his love life.

The film is set in Argentina.

The cast includes Facundo Gambandé and Diego De Paula.

Families are complicated, and things can get messy when you’re navigating growing up and the changing dynamics that come with that.

This is a film with a lot of heart. Although there’s some drama along the way, this is an uplifting and affirming story about the importance of getting comfortable with yourself and figuring out how you connect with the rest of the world.

A Skeleton In The Closet is worth adding to your watch-list.
