# Luke Evans has smashed his Broadway debut

Once again demonstrating his triple-threat credentials, [Luke Evans](https://www.mrman.com/luke-evans-nude-c6732?%5Fatc=901545-35-1&ref=gtv.blue) is getting rave reviews for his Broadway debut as Dr. Frank-N-Furter in the revival of Rocky Horror.

Reviewers are describing Luke's performance as a perfect blend of honouring Tim Curry's portrayal of the role while adding his own flair - backed up by his strong vocals and commanding physical presence.

Directed by Sam Pinkleton, Luke is leading an all-star cast in the production staged at Studio 54:

- **Stephanie Hsu** as Janet Weiss
- **Andrew Durand** as Brad Majors
- **Amber Gray** as Riff Raff

## Who is Luke Evans

#### Early life

Born in Pontypool in South Wales, Luke began studying acting at the age of 16, soon moving to London to pursue his passion.

#### The West End

Luke first came to the world’s attention with lead roles in big-name musicals in London’s West End, such as Rent, and Miss Saigon.

#### Film

Film roles started to come with Clash of the Titans, and Immortals. He went on to starring roles in The Hobbit, Dracula Untold, and Beauty and The Beast.

#### Recording Artist

Luke released his debut album, At Last, in 2019.

### The Relationship

Luke is currently dating [Fran Tomas](https://www.instagram.com/frantomasr/?utm%5Fsource=ig%5Fembed&ig%5Frid=6e96c9fe-7b19-4f1f-be31-d76bea397224). From Spain, Tomas is a project manager with a construction company. Luke and Fran met in 2021 while they were both in Australia.
