We caught up with John for a behind-the-scenes look at his online life.
How did you discover and begin to explore that working in the adult entertainment industry was something you were passionate about?
I discovered I really liked it when I recorded my first studio scene - it was for Masqulin and was filmed in my living room.
Then, I recorded my first duo scene for Men At Play. Until it was released, I had no idea how amazing that kind of work could be.
I'm still working with Men At Play and I have a lot of affection and respect for them.
What was your relationship with your body like growing up?
I've never felt uncomfortable with my body.
I think there's an audience for all body types and colours, but when I started out, I looked very boyish and I didn't like that on screen.
Over the years, my appearance has changed. Now, it's more masculine, hairier, more muscular, and I'm very happy about it. I think the audience is too.
Would you describe yourself as an exhibitionist?
Off-camera, I'm a shy person.
I find it very difficult to do certain things in certain places, even when I'm with my husband at a bar or nightclub.
I prefer to be more discreet and leave the exhibitionism for films and shows.
How has your work in the adult entertainment industry shaped your relationship with your body and the way you experience intimacy?
My work has taught me to accept myself - regardless of whether I'm thinner or more muscular.
For me, intimacy needs a connection - a touch of skin, a kiss, the warmth of the body - regardless of what that body looks like.
I enjoy experimenting with the diverse bodies I can experience - I feel that each one has something different, and you have to know how to explore that.
I don't have a "type" - I like what I see, what I touch, and what I feel.
What are some of your plans for the next few months?
First, I need some vacation - a few weeks of relaxation, to disconnect a bit and also recharge.
Working in the adult entertainment industry is great, but it demands a lot of mental and physical effort - training, eating well, blood tests to check on my health.
I also want to plan some trips around Europe and South America to collaborate with other actors.
I'll probably also have another film to shoot in the summer.
