Naked Men Talking: Vicken from Grabby Awards Europe
We talk collaborations, campaigning, and community.

You've said that winning a Grabby Award would be important to you because it would be endorsement that your work has a real meaning - how did you discover and start to explore that performing on camera and content creation was something that you're passionate about?

I’ve always had a huge fetish for all kind of sexy underwear and gear and I always enjoyed taking thirst-traps in sexy outfits - I was often posting some on my personal Instagram profile.

For a long time, the more explicit onces were only sent to my lovers or to Grindr guys! But, after moving to Berlin, I started experimenting with long-term chastity. I had support from a Dom at that time so I was sending him daily-ish pictures. At some point, I had so many pictures that I thought about posting some online. That’s how I started posting on Twitter. Then, I quickly went from taking nudes in my bedroom to getting railed in front of a camera!

As a creative with a background in image and visual communication, I’m used to building visual identities through images and storytelling. Creating an e-slut persona is actually very similar to working on a brand’s identity. I feel that content creation really connects everything I enjoy the most - creating nice pictures, building a visual identity, exploring sex, kinks and fetishes, and having fun with handsome, sexy and kinky guys.

Do you consider yourself an exhibitionist?

Yes and no. I definitely love showing off in sexy outfits - on social medias, on my platforms, or in a club - and I don’t mind being watched having sex, but putting on a show for others isn’t necessarily a major turn-on in itself.

I mainly enjoy it because of the connection with my sex partners. But I definitely enjoy knowing others have fun and get inspired by watching my sexual journey.

What was your relationship with your body like when you were growing up?

When I was a teenager, I was quite insecure with my body. I think it’s a somehow very classic gay experience but I was obviously feeling quite insecure in the locker-room when I was younger. I was kind of a nerdy closeted teenager - glasses, braces, questionable fashion tastes - I wasn’t feeling particularly hot and sexy.

I started going to the gym in high school. That’s when my relationship with my body started to change. Going to the gym really helped me to connect to my body. And I ended up developing some kind of self-confidence while building and sculpting my body.

How has your work in the adult entertainment industry changed your relationship with your body and the way that you experience intimacy?

Content creation has made me much more self-conscious. I somehow always keep in mind how I’m going to look on camera. I’m obviously always trying to look the best I can when I have to film. So in this regard, I’d say it made me feel more insecure and kind of obsessed with the need for my body to look better. But it definitely is a great motivation to hit the gym!

On the other hand, filming has pushed me to challenge my sexuality, to explore it even more, to aim for new goals. In a way, it’s a bit like doing a sport as a professional athlete. You have to train regularly, challenge your body and always aim to do better. I find this aspect super-interesting!

But for me, there’s a big difference between having sex on camera and experiencing it in my daily life. I’m very sensual in private. I love kissing and cuddling. That’s not something I’d show much on camera.

Working in the adult industry has also led me to get rid of dating apps and to focus more on meaningful connections rather than fast sex-consumption.

Beyond the Grabby Awards, what else is on your vision-board for the months ahead?

Easter Berlin is only a month away! It will definitely be a lot of fun - I've already planned lots of very hot collabs!

Otherwise, lots of training, lots of work, and a new tattoo.
