Returning with the sequel - "French Friends 2: Not Friends Anymore" - Mika and the team have done it again, once again taking home the trophy for Best Group Scene.
The narrative of this production picks up one year after the events of the first film in this series - the group of friends has gathered to celebrate the birthday of Jordan Fox.
The atmosphere is light, festive, friendly. But within a few minutes, everything changes.
Embracing the chamber film genre - but shot on hand-held camera and with improvised dialogue - this is erotic storytelling that delivers misunderstandings, cascading revelations, rising tensions, and a final explosion. What was supposed to be a party among friends becomes a spiral of desires, betrayals, and revealed secrets. In the end, no one is completely innocent. Are they still friends?
