Milo Miles banned from US travel
Detained by immigration officials, the performer has incurred a 10-year ban.
He's a big name in the world of adult entertainment but Milo Miles has run into trouble on a recent trip to the US.
Based in Toronto, Milo was travelling to Las Vegas for the GayVN Awards in January.
When attempting to board his flight, Milo was flagged for secondary screening. This process resulted in Milo being detained for eight hours, questioned repeatedly, resulting in a 10-year travel ban being imposed.
Describing the ordeal, Milo says that immigration officers searched his luggage and personal devices, focusing heavily on his travel history, medications, and personal life.
According to Milo's account, the immigration officers appeared to be looking for evidence that he was travelling for the purposes of prostitution - ultimately basing the decision to ban him from travelling to the US on a finding that he was intending to violate that entry-visa restriction.
Speaking to LGBTQ Nation, Milo explained that the ban has both professional and personal consequences. Milo won't be able to film in the US, and his partner lives in the US - so he won't be able to visit him there.
