Getting intimate with Tom 24cms
Meet the content-creator looking for an emotional connection.
There's a lot to admire about Tom 24cms.
We caught up with him for a behind-the-scenes look at his online life.
How did you discover and start to explore that performing on camera and content creation was something that you're passionate about?
Before I even turned 18, to be honest.
I started doing online broadcasts on different platforms but my main one became Chaturbate, where I was streaming for years. I liked to do that because I got more freedom and also extra money - essential when you’re a student.
I was doing that for few years until someone in the chat told me to try Onlyfans. I didn’t know about it at that time - it wasn’t popular yet. I decided to try it because it was something new and a different model of making content.
I started posting solo content then making duos and more interesting content. I liked it more than just being online streaming so shifted my focus to content-creation.
Do you consider yourself to be an exhibitionist?
I don’t think so. I’m just more comfortable with nudity than most people - especially on camera.
I feel okay doing solo or duo content on camera, even when it’s with a cameraman. I’m okay about all of that.
Do you enjoy the entrepreneurial side of the business?
No really, it’s only getting worse.
It's a lot more competitive now than when I started.
I used to get most of my new subscribers from Twitter, but that platform has become more difficult.
The newest challenge is AI content - Instagram and Twitter are full of them. It's difficult to compete when the audience doesn't seem to see a difference.
How has your work in the adult entertainment industry shaped your relationship with your body and the way that you experience intimacy?
It's helped me to feel better about my body.
In terms of intimacy, that's become more challenging. It's difficult to build relationships beyond the work - people who know you from your content only see you as a porn actor.
For me, what's most important is an emotional connection.
What is on your vision-board for the months ahead?
I spent over a year trying to get to the United States but it was difficult - I couldn't travel and had to stay in Mexico.
There are lots of new creators in Europe that I haven't worked with yet - I promise you'll soon see a lot of new content with new guys.
