For our podcast, Naked Men Talking, I caught up with Maxence Angel.

How did you discover and start to explore that content-creation was something that you were passionate about?
I started with studios, way before content-creation was a thing.
It was sometime around 2010 - I was 21 or 22.
I used to live in Cannes. I travelled to Paris for the shoot.
My boyfriend at the time, he applied for us - it was his idea. The producer called to discuss it - the next week, we travelled to Paris for the weekend.
I filmed three scenes over the weekend.
A month later, I filmed another one - this time in Montpellier. It was a more professional set-up. It was a schoolroom scene.
What was your relationship like when you were growing up? Were you always comfortable getting your clothes off in front of other people?
Not really. I've always had a problem with my eyes - it's difficult for me to focus on a moving target. So, football, volleyball - all the things you play in school - I was terrible. I never had much experience of locker-rooms - of changing in front of other people or being naked in front of others.
It's not something that ever crossed my mind until a friend suggested we go to Cap d'Agde for a holiday.
How has the filming work changed your relationship with your body?
It's a weird mix of confidence and judging myself at the same time.
I don't really enjoy working out.
Are you comparing yourself to other performers?
Yes, but I'm more looking at the promotional aspects - he marketing, the social media - I hate it. I hate the pressure to post things. I have zero inspiration to post things on non-sexual platforms.
Given the journey you've been on and the work that you do, are there any insights or lessons that you wish that you'd learned earlier? Anything that you wish that you could tell your younger-self?
Don't burn bridges. I've burned few bridges because sometimes I say things without filters - especially if I'm annoyed or angry.
I would also tell myself to be in better shape. I should have built my body more if I wanted to noticed by studios.
The last thing would be to try to find someone to help me with social media.
I have a huge backlog of content - maybe five months' worth. I don't have a problem making a content, I just need to ship it out.
