The surprising liberation of group prostate massage
A unique way to explore the fun you can have with your butt.
This is a low-key, low-stakes way to get naked with a group of guys and explore some self-pleasure through prostate massage.
Everyone brings their own anal toys and massages their prostate at their own pace as we lean into the communal sexual energy of getting naked with a room full of men.
We start the session by sitting in a circle, we begin with some breathing and pelvic-floor exercises, and then we move into self-exploration - beginning with fingers and then progressing to toys.

When is the next prostate massage workshop?
The next prostate massage workshop is taking place in London on Tuesday 2 June.

Planning ahead - future dates for prostate massage workshops:
What is the prostate?
The prostate is a gland that forms part of the male reproductive system. It’s not unique to humans – most mammals have a prostate gland.
You can’t see your prostate just by studying yourself in the mirror - it's an internal part of the body. The prostate is found below the bladder – the urethra passes through it.
Approximately the size of a chestnut, your prostate is sheathed in the muscles of the pelvic floor – these muscles contract during ejaculation.
The prostate generates fluid that contributes to the volume of your semen. This fluid is essential for prolonging the lifespan of your sperm during the reproductive process.
The prostate has a bit of an image problem as it’s generally only spoken about in terms of prostate cancer. As men get older, one of the health issues they often encounter is prostate cancer.
Why is the prostate associated with gay sex?
Because of its position in the body, your prostate can be stimulated from the anterior wall of the rectum or externally via the perineum.
This is sometimes referred to as prostate massage.
Most men find prostate massage pleasurable. Some men can achieve orgasm through prostate massage without any other stimulation.
It’s a part of your body where there’s a concentration of nerve-endings and it’s pretty much hard-wired into the pleasure receptors in your brain. If you stimulate your prostate, you’re going to feel that pleasure throughout your body. For this reason, your prostate is sometimes referred to as the male G-spot or the P-spot.
Anal sex or ass-play is the ideal way to stimulate your prostate – that’s why gay guys are particularly in tune with the pleasure that can be created through hitting the prostate. However you describe your sexuality, you're going to enjoy some prostate stimulation.
The best way to figure out how to connect with your prostate and how to maximise your prostate pleasure is to get your hands on a dildo or sex toy and experiment.
