Remember, Remember! is a musical retelling of the story of the Gunpowder Plot.

Describing itself as wildly inaccurate and joyfully misinformed, this is a show determined to make history as entertaining as possible.

Remember, Remember! follows the lesser-known plot leader Robert Catesby, and leans into the hazy folklore of Bonfire Night to create an unapologetically queer retelling of a story that we all learned a little about in school.

"We've worked our historical little bottoms off to create a show that exists purely to make people laugh..." says Alex Pritchett, director of the production. "If you've always wanted to know the true story of the Gunpowder Plot, then you should probably Google it. We've barely heard of it. But we do know that Guy Fawkes had a massive bulge."

Remember, Remember! is on at Pleasance Dome until 30 August
