As we count down towards the Grabby Awards in Torremolinos, one of the highlights that we're looking forward to is CreatorVision.
A new feature of this year's Grabby Awards Europe, CreatorVision will showcase and celebrate the art of filmmaking and the incredibly talented people behind and in front of the cameras.
Hosting CreatorVision will be Serg Shepard and Justin Jett.
We caught up with Serg Shepard for a behind-the-scenes look at what to expect.
What will you be wearing when you hit the stage to present CreatorVision?
I'll be wearing an outfit from ORTTU. It's my favourite brand and I've been wearing them for years.
The guys who created the brand are a Ukrainian couple. I met them in Istanbul.
They emigrated and created something fantastic for queer people around the world.
CreatorVision celebrates the art of filmmaking - in your opinion, what makes a great scene or production in the world of adult entertainment?
The director needs a strong vision or idea - backed up by a good story and a good script.
Beautiful cinematography is also important to me.
A great scene relies on the collaboration with the actors and the chemistry on set - everyone needs to feel comfortable.
What's a behind-the-scenes role that you feel deserves more recognition?
The editing process is always important - ensuring that everything looks immaculate.
People who style the performers and the set also play a key role - you want it to look beautiful.
What are some of the trends in filmmaking that you're seeing as content-creators continue to push the boundaries of the art-form?
In the era of social media, it's personality that counts. Everyone is trying to show who they are and what makes them unique.
We're trying make a personal connection with our audience - we want them to feel like our friends, and we're trying to give them what they want to see.
What do you hope that everyone feels when they're attending the CreatorVision ceremony that you're hosting?
I love the porn industry.
I love all-sex scenes but I really love filmmaking. I'd love to see more complex storytelling - from both the studios and independent filmmakers.
I hope that CreatorVision inspires everyone to continue creating innovative projects and great movies.
