Men who massage: Daniel of Madrid

We oil up and go deep with a naked masseur.

Men who massage: Daniel of Madrid

I caught up with Daniel to discuss his experiencing of naked massages with men.

You’ve been working as a masseur for over 15 years - how did you discover and start to explore that massage was something that you were passionate about?

It didn’t start as a career - it started as a feeling, a quiet curiosity that grew over time.

Even as a young man, I noticed that my hands seemed to have a power to ease tension, to calm people, to communicate what words sometimes cannot. I would help friends, family, even strangers relax - there was something deeply satisfying in that.

Over the years, what began as simple curiosity turned into passion. I trained, studied the body, learned countless techniques, and slowly realised that massage was not just about muscles or relaxation - it was about connection, about trust, about presence.

Today, after more than 15 years of this work - and five incredible years living and working in Madrid - I see massage as a form of art, a way to understand humanity, and offer care that touches both body and soul.

It’s my way of creating a meaningful space for people to feel seen, to feel safe, and to reconnect with themselves.

One of the services that you provide is a naturist massage where both you and the client are naked - what’s the intention or the benefits of this style of naturist massage?

Naturist massage is about stripping away more than just clothes—it’s about stripping away fear, judgment, and expectation.

When both the client and I are naked, something powerful happens - a space of complete honesty and vulnerability opens. It’s not sexual - it’s deeply human.

The body becomes a map of tension, emotion, and energy - being nude allows the person to experience themselves fully.

People often arrive carrying stress, insecurities, or emotional blocks. In this space, they can release all of that. They reconnect with themselves in a pure, unfiltered way, and discover a kind of freedom that is rare in daily life.

Through my work, I’ve seen men become calmer, more present, more at ease with themselves - and that transformation is profound.

What sort of men come to you for a naked massage?

The men who come to me are as diverse as life itself, yet they share a common desire - to be seen and understood.

Some are professionals carrying the weight of long days, responsibilities, and pressure. Some are men who have never had a safe space to explore their own body or emotions. They come for relaxation, yes, but also for clarity, release, and reconnection.

What they find here is not just a massage - it’s an experience of trust, acceptance, and human connection. They leave lighter - not only physically, but mentally and emotionally.

It’s an opportunity to reclaim a part of themselves that the world often asks them to hide.

What was your relationship with your body like when you were growing up?

Like most people, my relationship with my body has evolved.

Growing up, I had insecurities and doubts, just like everyone else. But through self-awareness, practice, and my work with massage, I learned to accept my body, to understand it, and to celebrate it.

Being comfortable with myself allowed me to create a safe space for others, because you cannot help someone feel free if you don’t feel free yourself.

Nudity, vulnerability, and honesty have taught me lessons about trust, boundaries, and human connection that go far beyond the surface.

It’s a journey, and it’s ongoing - but it’s one of the most beautiful parts of this work.

How has your work as a masseur shaped your relationship with your body and the way that you experience intimacy?

Massage has redefined intimacy for me.

True intimacy is not just physical - it’s about presence, attention, and trust. It’s about creating a space where someone feels fully accepted, fully held, and fully seen.

Being able to share that kind of connection with someone, even briefly, has deepened my understanding of human closeness and vulnerability. It has also made me more aware of my own body, my own boundaries, and my own capacity for empathy.

I’ve learned that intimacy is not a performance or an expectation - it is an art of being completely present, open, and respectful.

That lesson carries into all aspects of life, shaping the way I connect with people on and off the massage table.

What are some of your goals and aspirations for the months ahead?

I want to continue growing, but in ways that are meaningful and deep.

I want to reach more people, help more men reconnect with themselves, and keep exploring new techniques, new experiences, and new ways of offering care.

Living in Madrid for five years has given me both stability and inspiration - it has been a city of growth, discovery, and connection.

Now, I feel motivated to expand my vision, while staying true to the essence of what I do -  creating spaces where people can feel free, safe, and fully themselves.

My goal is not just to perfect my craft, but to touch lives in a way that lingers long after the massage ends.
